There are basic Rules and Guidelines for visitors to the Mandir. Among these are:
The Mandir is a no smoking area.
No eating or drinking is allowed in the Mandir.
No unnecessary movement or talking when Puja is being performed.
No meat or alcohol must be brought onto the premises.
Before entering shoes/slippers must be placed on racks provided.
The wearing of shorts, three quarter pants or jeans are discouraged.
Women's heads and shoulders should be covered. Skirts should be below the knees.
Murtis should not be touched.
Donations should not be given to any person but should be placed in the boxes provided.
No photography or taping is allowed unless a request is made and permission is given.
Flowers may be picked but only under the supervision and the permission of the caretaker.
Before entering the Mandir, it is a custom for Hindus to bow, touching the floor of the Mandir with their right hands and then touching their foreheads as a mark of respect.
It is a custom to greet other people by placing the hands together and saying Sita Rama.
ACTIVITIES
Religious services are held every Sunday morning from 8:00am to 9:30 am.
